I found a Ringsnake today as I was killing a Carpenter bee drilling on the play set.
Again, animal kingdom.

Molly came home today. She’s been at the vet for a few days. She wasn’t keeping anything down. Because she is 10 years old, we were concerned. However, she seems to be fine. We will keep her isolated for a few days to make sure she and Maddie don’t get into any midnight fights.
I don’t know why exactly, but this picture is hilarious. Maybe it’s that Ellie is doing whatever Sam does and that’s a huge part our daily strife. Or, maybe it’s Sam seemingly instructing Ellie what to do. Maybe it’s that it’s big news for us to be around a harmless 14″ snake. Maybe it’s just that even though what they’re doing is silly to us adults, they clearly think it was doing something to that snake.
They are funny.
You know, I thought something must be up with Molly when she actually let me pet her last weekend. Glad she’s ok!
