I love Pandora. I have a Deadmau5 station on it and I started it the other night on the TiVo. Sam and Ellie started dancing to it. I guess kids like techno. I’m sorry for the long video, but I just couldn’t cut it down to 30 seconds.
Now that I’m not doing the monthly update on Ellie, I’ve got quite a backlog.
During the week we went to the beach (13 months), her 4 top teeth finally popped through. She’s always such a trouper.
She’s been walking increasingly more, but I’m going to say officially started walking on July 5 (14 months). Here’s a …
When we switched Samantha to a twin bed last year, we didn’t buy new bedding for a number of reasons. We gave her some hand-me-down bedding. It was blue, so she liked it.
At any rate, she has been doing very well without a diaper at night. And now that we’re in the new house, we decided it was high time to reward her …
I’m upgrading our mac mini (the machine this blog is on) from Debian 5 to Debian 6. Hopefully it comes back.
brian@minimac:~$ uptime 13:16:58 up 100 days, 1:11, 1 user, load average: 0.70, 0.64, 0.36
See you on the other side. 🙂
UPDATE: We’re back! That was easy. I love Debian.
We love the Hoover Library! They always have lots of stuff going on for kids (and adults, remember, the rain barrel?) but this summer, it seems jammed packed with fun shows! Check out the Kids Events or the main library calendar if you’re local. I’m sure you’ll find something there that’s interesting! Ellie absolutely …
I think I broke my toe yesterday. It hurt. I cried. Brian says I’m not to put a picture of it on the website. (You can thank him later.)
Happy Father’s Day.
We’re still working through all of our pictures, but here’s one for proof. We had lots of fun.
UPDATE:
What a trip! We stayed in the big house again, and it seemed like there weren’t as many people there as usual. I guess that’s because there wasn’t.
Sam enjoyed the water this year, but was still a little anxious at …
A few of you noticed that we have our Amazon show case on the right side of our website again. Fewer still called me out on my “Kardashian Konfidential” book. No, I really don’t have (nor have I read) that fine piece of intellectual fodder. I did recently subscribe to Rolling Stone magazine though and that has now …
Sam: “Do you have new glasses on?”
Me: “Yes ma’am.”
Sam: “Oh! They are pretty! They are super-pretty!”
Me: “Thank you!”
Sam: “They are so cute. I want some glasses just like yous.”
