Brian and I hung out on the driveway and watched the eclipse. It was a nice evening, and I thoroughly enjoyed gazing up at the sky with our camera. Happy Anniversary Brian!

Targeted Snail Mail
It’s nice to see that targeted advertising isn’t that good yet. Yes it’s spooky that they know our names, address and anniversary date. Thankfully they don’t know Janie’s taste in jewelry yet because this is tacky.

7 Year Anniversary trip
Brian and I went to Memphis last weekend for our anniversary. Some of you may be thinking that our anniversary was about 6 weeks ago. You’re right! We thought to plan a trip in September, but just now got around to taking the actual trip.
Samantha stayed with MamaLinda and Pop and saw all of her Burns side family all weekend. I think she had a great time. While we were in Memphis, we visited Sun Studio, The Peabody, took a Mississippi Riverboat Dinner Cruise, walked up and down Beale Street, and took a tour of the Gibson Guitar Factory. Memphis was farther away than I anticipated, so it seemed we spent a lot of time in the car, but overall, we had a good trip!
