Well I must say that I was very disappointed when we lost to LSU in November. I blogged that I blamed Coach Saban. All is forgiven now. Shutouts are awesome.

Losses x3
It is said that bad things come in threes. I’ve had mine, so the near future looks bright.
Friday morning right before I left for work, a giant plant reached out and stabbed me in the eye moaning “Feed me, Seymour!” Well, in reality, I reached for a toy that Ellie dropped and as I bent down one of the plants by the kitchen window introduced itself to my cornea. Dr. Candice Turner, a friend of ours from Prince of Peace, got me all fixed up. She said it was an abrasion–much like how you skin your knee on the concrete–only this was my eye. Since it was vegetative, they couldn’t patch it up. I had to let it heal on its own. We don’t want fungal infections now do we?
Saturday night, we–well, you know. Sorry Coach Saban, I’m in awe of what you’ve done for the Capstone, but I blame this one on you.
Because of the Daylight Savings switch, Sunday seemed to be a very long day for me. I decided to finally reconfigure my backup routine here for mauter.com. One of the things I needed to do to get it all to work was reboot my Mac Mini (yep, still going after nearly seven years). When it rebooted, it never came back on the network. Uh-oh, I bet the disk died, says I. Sure enough, the disk drive croaked and since I was reconfiguring my backup routine, I hadn’t made a backup in a week. I think the only thing we lost was one comment on the Braiding post. I am very sorry about that. Originally we lost the Halloween and Checkup posts but I salvaged them from browser histories.
Yay. Tomorrow is going to rock!
